The short version: the site is here to help you plan and request work. Prices on the site are estimates; your real price comes in writing before we start, and your job is covered by the contract you sign with us.
01
About these terms
These terms cover your use of callbrinx.com and its forms, quizzes and tools (the “site”), run by Columbia Electrical Services LLC, doing business as Brinx Electrical (“Brinx,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using the site after being given clear notice of these terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and our Text Message Terms cover texts from us. Electrical work itself is covered by the written estimate and contract you sign for your job, not by these website terms.
If your signed job agreement conflicts with these website terms or other general site information, the signed job agreement controls for that job, subject to applicable law.
02
Text messages (SMS)
Our text program. If you check the optional text box on one of our forms, Columbia Electrical Services LLC, doing business as Brinx Electrical, may text the mobile number you give us about your estimate, scheduling, appointment reminders, job updates and follow-up after the work. We don't send promotional or marketing texts under this program. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything.
How often. Message frequency varies. Most customers get a few texts around their estimate and appointment, and if you don't reply to an estimate request we follow up up to about eight times over 30 days.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.
How to stop or get help. Text STOP to any message to opt out, and you'll get one confirmation and no more texts. Text HELP for help, or call (509) 253-9511.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Age. You must be 18 or older to sign up for texts.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number, and we never share or sell text opt-in information for anyone's marketing. The full program terms are in our Text Message Terms.

Who does the work
Brinx Electrical is a Washington electrical contractor licensed by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. Electrical work is performed by appropriately certified electricians and electrical trainees holding valid training certificates under the supervision required by Washington law. We obtain permits and arrange inspections where required. You can check any contractor's license on L&I's verify a contractor page.
04
Prices, quizzes and estimates
Prices, ranges, “starting at” amounts and quiz results on the site are general information to help you plan. They are not a quote or an offer. Your actual price depends on your home, your panel, the equipment you choose, permit and utility requirements, and what we find on site.
Submitting a quiz or quote request does not authorize a charge, book a service appointment or create a contract for electrical work. We will confirm any appointment separately.
Your price is set only by a written estimate from Brinx. Work begins only after you provide written acceptance of an estimate or job agreement stating the scope, price, payment terms and any disclosures Washington law requires. If we find something on the job that changes the scope or price, we'll explain it and get your approval in writing before doing the extra work.
05
Rebates, incentives and information
Information on the site about utility rebates, tax credits, codes, permits and equipment is general and can change. Rebates and incentives are set by utilities and government programs, not by Brinx, and we can't guarantee you'll qualify or receive one. We're happy to help with paperwork you ask us for. Nothing on the site is legal, tax or financial advice. For an electrical emergency, call us; if there's danger to life or property, call 911.
06
What you send us
When you use our forms, please give accurate information and only submit phone numbers and photos you're allowed to share. If you send photos, plans or other files, you let us use them to prepare your estimate, plan and do the work, get permits and keep job records.
We won't use photos of your home in our marketing without your permission.
07
Using the site
Please don't:
- Submit false information or someone else's contact details without their permission
- Use the site to send spam, malware or anything unlawful
- Try to break into, overload or interfere with the site or its forms
- Scrape or copy the site's content, prices or design for commercial use
We may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.
08
Our content and brand
The Brinx name, logo, designs, text, photos and tools on the site belong to Brinx or are used with permission. You're welcome to read, print and share pages for personal use, but please don't copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
09
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as utilities, L&I, equipment makers and rebate programs. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10
Disclaimers
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but it's provided “as is.” We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date. Warranties for our electrical work and the equipment we install are the ones stated in your written estimate, contract or warranty card, plus any rights you have under Washington law that can't be waived.
Site content and quiz results do not replace an assessment by a qualified electrician or any property-specific load calculation, design or code review your project requires.
11
Limits on liability
To the extent Washington law allows, Brinx isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses that come from using the site or relying on its general information. This section is about the website only. It doesn't limit our responsibility for our electrical work, which is governed by your written contract and Washington law.
12
Governing law
These terms are governed by Washington State law. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state courts located in Benton County, Washington, or, where federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise. We encourage you to contact us to try to resolve a concern. Doing so is voluntary and does not delay or restrict your legal remedies or filing deadlines.
13
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date at the top. For material changes, we'll provide clear notice before they take effect and state the effective date. By continuing to access or use the site after the revised terms take effect and after being given any required notice, you agree to the revised terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent. Changes apply prospectively and do not amend an existing job agreement without separate agreement or apply retroactively to an existing dispute.
